Product managers are always full of ideas but sometimes their most daring projects need to be tested for economic viability. This is what I’ve been doing for the last 5 years, two of them in the second largest bank in Russia. I would describe my role as providing working cooperation and coordination between product owners and financial department: I evaluate potential impact of tariff changes on banking product profitability and prove the viability of my financial model to financial department. In my previous job I contributed to the development of a debit card product which was recognized as the best in the country according to one of its main economical portals Banki.ru. I'm also responsible for developing analytical reporting system and for providing my colleagues with any needed information on customers behaviour and product profitability. I also have experience in deal structuring with international payment systems – I created financial models for searching the optimal number of cards to be issued allowing my bank to form the best negotiating position.Key hard skills: SQL, Excel. Currently taking a course in Python and Tableau for data analysts.
