Added to my previous tasks, in 2015 my main role changed to that of a team leader. Here I have pushed to implement an agile working methodology within the team and became a certified Scrum Master to help with this.

The company is a back office for FTI Touristik GmbH which is a leader in the German tourism industry. I was employed as a Web developer with the main responsibility of developing applications to enhance internal processes, and also convey financial information to management found in different countries.The typical project would include reading information from various systems used by the FTI Group through various text files and web services. This information is validated and transformed to be used within a web tool by the end user. This is done using Linux virtual machines running a LAMP stack. A custom built PHP framework is used to host the applications. Code is shared amongst the team through GIT version control.

I started off helping with the implementation of a Kanban card system to move stock from the warehouse to the production lines. This coincided with the same time SAP was being implemented within the company, so ways needed to be found on how to merge both together using barcodes.I was also updating documentation to meet ISO9001 standard. These were complemented by mapping operational processes of the assembly lines into flowcharts.
