Currently working for SAGA PLC in the Insurance DevOps team building out IAC and application pipelines using teamcity & Octopus deploy to Azure. Prior to this worked in the travel web team using Microsoft stack i.e. Visual Studio 2022 and MSSQL, but also utilizing some open source frameworks, MVC4/5 NUnit, Unity. Very interested in the Agile space.My skill set touches on all aspects of ICT and hold strong problem solving and fault diagnostic skills. I have good analysis skills seeing both sides of the coin when integrating disparate systems. I ensure that the needs of the user, development team/s and management are always taken into account when building/modifying systems. I have managed both internal and external people.During 2011/2012 whilst with P&O Ferries I gained valuable experience working in an agile focused environment in SCRUM teams. I also gained the opportunity to cross train as a JAVA developer during this period.I have spent the last 15 years in development working predominantly with operational 24/7 365 based systems from design to support to de-commissioning and from electrical/electronic to software /hardware driven systems. I have been working mostly with MS technologies during the whole of my career from the very early days of windows 3.11 through to server 2019. I have exposure to SQL2000/5/8/12,16 etc VS2003/5/8/10/12/13/15/17/18/22, .NET and ASP.Net 1.0 - 4.8 , VB6 and .Net5/6. In addition I also used commercially Eclipse and Netbeans IDE's for JAVA development.
