My professional claim to fame (such as it is) was my role in founding MaxPreps, the nation’s largest sports media brand devoted to American high school sports. During that journey, I raised $13MM in funding. Created and sustained all elements of a category-leading national brand including development of brand ethos and identity. In 2007, I sold the business to CBS Corporation for $43MM. I then led integration into CBS Sports Digital. While leading MaxPreps inside CBS, we expanded the audience by 20X - to 15.5MM monthly unique users - and grew revenues by 10X, while keeping staffing flat.I am proud of having conceptualized and executed Touchdowns Against Cancer to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help in the fight against pediatric cancers. After leaving MaxPreps, I founded Firstly, America's First Family Financial Management platform. I conducted target audience research, developed the brand ethos and brand architecture, defined the product vision, and had the opportunity to hire and lead a great team of fintech professionals and launched the product ...all in a short (and frenetic) 13-months.Now, I return to the space I love most: The intersection of business and scholastic sports. I am excited for the journey ahead.
