Responsibilities:• Directing and coordinating Long-haul maintenance for Terminal 5• Creating a robust and visible plan of work for the various departments in Terminal 5. • Ensuring that any issues that are encountered are dealt with effectively to enable Engineering to maintain safety. • Minimising the chances of and effects of any delays to the schedule. • Providing a “single point of contact” for crew in UK/overseas, customer service agents, stand planners, loading, catering, cleaning, Terminal operations and passengers. • Ensuring that flights depart on time while being accountable to the director of Engineering should any aircraft leave late without good reason.
