February 2008 - Present Day - Code-a-Weld Ltd* Pipefitter / Plater Fabricating pipe spools, skid building, heavy beam work. Working on projects for Aquaterra, HydraRig, HydraMec, Prior Diesel, AJS, Amec, Conoco Phillips.

*January 2008 - February 2008 - SLP Engineering Ltd* Pipefitter / Plater Fabrication and installation of pipe spools for offshore modules working in the fabrication workshop and on the quayside and barges. (Maersk Project)

*June 2004 - December 2007 - Derrick Services Ltd* Pipefitter / Pipefitter Chargehand / Plater / Fabricator Working from Plating drawings and Piping isometrics to construct Derricks and Pipework systems, and fabricate/install gooseneck standpipes, manifolds and mud and cement lines for on and offshore rigs, the last 6 months of this employment was spent as a chargehand in charge of up to 8 pipefitters. My role was to assist and advise and issue drawings and liase with the drawing office to overcome any problems.

July 2002 - January 2004 - Morinoak International Ltd* Pipefitter / Plater / Fabricator Works from drawings + / - 3 mm to construct and fabricate derricks / Land rigs and pipework systems required for on and offshore. Key duties include:- Receiving drawings and specifications. Checking materials specified. Select and cut plate, channels, angles and beams. Position parts, tack and weld - Tig, Mig, Stick and Flux Core. Build and install pipe systems, gooseneck stand pipes, mud and cement lines, manifold, Stainless, Duplex and Carbon Steels working on pipes ranging from 3mm - 50mm in thickness. Courses taken in this employment - Overhead Gantry Cranes, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels and First Aid.

June 2002 - July 2002 - Amec Shell ( Bacton Gas Terminal )* Pipefitter / Plater / Fabricator Fabricating pipe spools in the site workshop, pressure testing spools and installation of spools in and around the gas terminal.

January 2002 - June 2002 - Amec BP ( Bacton Gas Terminal )* Pipefitter / Plater Installation of pipe spools, stainless steel pipelines, pipe racks, hydro-testing and some plating fabrication.

April 2001 - January 2002 - Morinoak International Ltd* Pipefitter / Plater Both pipework and plating fabrication and installation for several new build projects including large land rigs and derricks

*November 1991 - April 2001 - Amec Process & Energy Ltd* Pipefitter / Plater Mainly pipework fabrication in the workshop and hydro-testing in the yard. Some time was spent away working on sites in Hull, Dimlington, Easington etc. NVQ Level 3 was achieved during this employment.
