Current• Responded to upwards of 15-20 routine and emergency calls for service during 12-hour patrol shifts, including medical emergencies, violent crimes-in-progress, and property crime reports.• Conducted thorough investigations of violent and property crimes using a variety of investigative techniques while adhering to constitutional law and proper criminal procedure.• Submitted at least two thousand detailed incident reports, compiling the necessary information to resolve cases, including the identification, and prosecution, of offenders. • Conducted comprehensive background investigations of police applicants through interviews with references, extensive records checks, reviewing open-source information and social media accounts, and by obtaining military and employer personnel files before forwarding final report recommendations to the Chief of Police.• Trained, supervised, managed, and mentored newly certified police officers in departmental policies, procedures, and practices in all aspects of policing while documenting daily progress through training software.• Collaborated with departmental social workers to advance community outreach programs, expand social services, and offer support to victims.
