At 3.7, I developed a search engine for American companies and products and an RFP system for business-to-business clients looking to sell or utilize American products. I leveraged my background in geospatial technology (ArcGIS) to find the best places to site new facilities for businesses that would also make the largest impact on unemployment. To do this, I intersected areas of high unemployment around the USA with the business criteria for siting clients’ new warehouses, call centers and shipping facilities. The intersection of these areas was used to identify where there is both a need for jobs and a need for new facilities.

As GIS Discipline Lead, I was responsible for the expansion and improvement of client‐oriented GIS and data management skills throughout the company, and for bringing GIS hardware and software to state‐of‐the‐art levels nationwide. As the Bothell Lead Scientist, I was responsible for managing and staffing our Bothell Science Group, which consisted of over 40 geoscientists, chemists, GIS analysts, programmers and terrestrial and aquatic biologists. As Deputy Operations Manager, I managed our Bothell office with over 90 personnel roughly half-time.
