School Team Leader
This role provides administrative leadership to the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Paramedicine (NSW). Key Responsibilities include:• Operational running of the day-to-day business of the School.• Effectively deploy administrative resources to meet the student and academic support needs of the NSW School. across three campuses in NSW.• Lead a team of seven administrative staff in the processes involved in course administration, promotion and profiling of the School, resource administration, timetabling and all other administrative undertakings of the School’s operations.• Line-management responsibilities. • Manage the staffing of all teaching and assessment activities of the School, engaging with the AWPS (Academic Workload Planning System) and allocating sessional staff to vacancies. • Represent the School on university committees and working groups such as Open Day, University Experience Day, Faculty Communications Protocol, and Credit Management. • Manage the administrative functions involved in the recruitment of staff.• Support the Head of School in managing the budget ($7m annual), forecasting and all procurement processes for the School.• Oversee the preparation of sessional contracts, coordination and support of sessional staff in accessing resources, facilities and information.• Key relationships in this role include the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, Course Coordinators, other Team Leaders within the National structure, and other Heads of Directorates within the University.
