Based in an extremely fast paced retail environment.My main duties as Team Leader are to support the store manager in the running of the store. Lead and manage a team of 10 co-workers on a daily basis, providing motivation, enthusiasm and support to help them achieve their targets and store 'KPI' objectives. I am an effective trainer of my team and deal with customer support enquiries. I assist in the active recruitment of staff to the store. I deal with customers on a daily basis, assisting them with identifying the right goods and resolving any issues.I am responsible for the Sales Floor including stock management, appearance, POS and customer service. As part of the team I work both on the sales floor and in the stockroom, dealing with payments, refunds, answering queries from customers and stocking shelves.As Duty Manager I provide cover for the Store Manager in their absence. My duties include running the store independent of supervision, managing my team and internal systems, providing customer satisfaction.I have training in Health & Safety and Critical Incident Management.During the peak period over Christmas 2014-2015, I was temporarily promoted to Customer Service Manager in the Ely store, this was to fill the vacancy whilst the current management team was recruited.
