Implemented a corporate strategy of identifying strategic and professional accounts that require a higher degree of attention or support based upon their respective sales potential or industry profile. Responsibilities included new product sales, technical sales support, sales of service agreement programs and administrative duties. Accounts included Herff Jones, Olan Mills, Photogenic Inc. and others. Unfortunately, after one year this Strategic/Professional division was deemed unnecessary and was subsequently eliminated as part of a larger corporate restructuring in response to a continued significant sales decline impacting Noritsu and the photofinishing industry.

Using a creative consultative selling style, I very successfully managed a sales territory maintaining no less than a 65% market share representing new photofinishing equipment products to One Hour Photo Labs, Commercial/Professional Photo Labs, Camera Stores, Photographers, small food/drug chains, Fortune 500 Companies, entrepreneurial individuals and governmental agencies. Primary sales responsibilities included prospecting, lead follow up, coordination of lease financing, training, installation, trade ins, service agreement sales and implementation of corporate sales promotions or incentives designed to increase or stimulate sales. Additional responsibilities included advising accounts on the opportunities provided by technical advancements and the potential financial benefits relative to new equipment or expansion. By building long term trusting relationships with customers and prospects alike, I consistently performed above corporate sales objectives and well below a defined expense budget for 19 years.
