Evaluation, Underwriting & acquisition of Art & Antiques related business, on behalf of Sterling Insurance and XL insurance, either from clients direct or via Insurance Brokers and Intermediaries in the UK and Ireland. In additional high networth household risk with large collections, not necessarily art related.

Began career at GRE as a General Inspector. Role included visiting Brokers and Intermediaries in South West London and surrounding area. This included a small amount of Commercial and Personal Underwriting. The role continued and progressed with the company change of name to Guardian. AXA took over Guardian and role changed to include testing of online Broker systems. In 2001 I became Commercial Schemes Underwriter for FSB and Antique Schemes. Over time the role evolved to include:- Broker training on commercial policies- Training and development of new entrants to AXA- Auditing of Broker Schemes- Deputising for Team Leader during periods of absence for holiday/sickness - General commercial underwriting

Personal lines underwriting being one of the first Insurance Brokers to have computerised car quote system. Mainly dealing with private car insurance and small household.

Trained to underwrite Marine cargo declarations and seeking settlement of Marine cargo claims in the London market.
