I am a Police Sergeant within the Metropolitan Police Service with L4 Management qualification and a L3 Diploma in Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) qualification. I have gained relevant experience in education and the development of others as I have trained as a Police recruit instructor with a formal level 3 qualifications in Teaching, Coaching and Mentoring, and completed the College of Policing Training Essentials Programme. I currently line manage a mixture of Police Officers, members of Police staff and will be supporting externally partnership staff as I am responsible for their welfare, development and their delivery of Police recruit training. This often requires me to conduct based on limited information to make decisions using a mixture of dynamic risk assessments and the national decision making model (NDM). I am particular in checking the finer details, having good organisational and time management skills. These allow me to be an individual who is disciplined to follow policies and direction, letting me to able to think and work independently to achieve results. As of May 2024, I will be in post for the first cohort of Police Constable Entry Programme (PCEP) within the Metropolitan Police Service.
