About Andy Culler

I am an experienced security engineer whose career has primarily been focused on enterprise security (blue/purple team work). However, my passion truly lies in building security tooling and automation: anything that can be automated should never be done manually. I'm also passionate about helping companies mature their security organization and take it from scrappy to scalable. I tend to prefer work environments where I can make interpersonal connections with my colleagues as opposed to companies where the interactions are more shallow and transactional. This is a culture that I not only look for in an organization, but bring with me.When not working you can find me tinkering in my home lab, playing games, reading, or watching a movie with my wife. I do like to get outside as well, including snowboarding, camping, climbing mountains, and taking pictures of space. I'm a bit of a serial hobby collector, so I've also dabbled in 3D printing, brewing beer and mead, blacksmithing, and woodworking.
