Managing the stevedore / discharge operations on the Humber International Terminal, a deep water tidal terminal this is two distinct operations, the conventional discharge of coal cargo, using crane and grab, to hopper / conveyors. The other side of this operation is the discharge of wood pellet cargo through a new CSU system, linked to ABP's state of the art storage and rail loading facility.My responsibility was for the safe working of our Stevedores on board the ships. 2010 Aviation Fuel BFI Manager, Supreme Fuels, FOB Dwyer, Afghanistan- Managed fuel supplies in a remote location for the US Military- Delivered 24x365 fuel support including quality surveillance, as well as regular testing and sampling - Analysed results in order to provide comprehensive reports for the US Marine Corps- Ensured that all quality levels are in accordance with ISO 9001 and US Military specifications for aviation fuel- Built and commissioned a new laboratory, certified by the US Army to test fuels for the Department of Defence

2008 – 2010 Petroleum Inspector, Inspectorate International- Completed inspections of petroleum cargo, as well as vessels, tanks and pipelines as an independent inspector - Met vessels to conduct comprehensive inspections and produce reports detailing quality and quantities- Conducted inspections of pipelines and shore installations to ensure no loss of product- Ensured the highest levels of health and safety were maintained as the HS&E officer for the site- Implemented the use of personal locator beacons for off-shore use
