My background in the Mental Health Care Services has given me a comprehensive understanding of the systemic nature of professional relationships and individual employee management. After 10yrs working in the NHS I decided on a complete career change. As construction had been my original career it seemed logical to return. Albeit admittedly initially as a stop gap to a further career.During my time working at Hobson & Porter I worked closely with various Site Managers and felt an opportunity in that role would be beneficial.Risby Homes offered me that opportunity and has demonstrated a commitment to my further development within it.I became the senior Site Manager at the company and was able to secure a Commended and Highly Commended Award in the NHBC Health & Safety Awards, A Pride in the Job, Seal of Excellence, Regional Award and Supreme Runner Up in the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.2014 Pride in the Job Award Winner, Seal of Excellence and Regional Winner.More recently I have gained valuable experience within a more high demand sector of the industry, working on a highly target driven 30+ housing development at Peter Ward Homes Ltd and I spent a short time employed by Redrow Homes Yorkshire on an 80+ housing development until I made the move back to a more bespoke house builder (Scruton & Co) to manage the new build of 30 Executive Family Homes and 6 Social Housing Homes in Walkington.I spent 3.5 years at Hobson & Porter Ltd as a Project Manager and after competing the demolition of 7 existing and the new build of 13 bungalows in Hull, I moved onto the newbuildof 21 Executive Family Homes which includes 3 existing barn conversions (Marton Cum Grafton, York).I am recently worked as an Assistant Contracts Manager for Voase Builder (Hull) with involvement in both private and commercial contracts.I have a very good understanding of IT and I am proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.I also utilise 3D CAD with ease, producing detailed drawings and rendered images.
