A youth and community worker, with more than 30 years experience; I now work as a Project Manager, for Swansea Council, across a range of projects and services. My current projects include, racial justice, arts-education, strategic work, disability, contract management and construction.As a youth worker, I managed the Swansea's information, advice and support service for young people, for 16 years. This included Info-Nation, Swansea Council's one-stop shop for young people. During this time, I managed prevention and education services, and partnerships around sexual health, emotional health, substance misuse, and online safety, to name but a few.In my spare time, I am a retained fire fighter, serving as part of Pontarddulais Fire Station (Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service).I have strong interest in disability work and have previously served as a trustee for The Arthrogryposis Group (Reg. Charity 327508) and have worked for Whizz-Kidz, facilitating their ambassador clubs and providing wheelchair skills training.
