Working primarily in the Music and Entertainment Industries, Andy has been running his studio since 1982. He previously worked as a Designer at CBS Records in New York under John Berg. After relocating back to Los Angeles, he worked as an Art Director at Rod Dyer Inc. There he created and oversaw a s#%tload of record covers, film posters and identity and branding projects. As Andy Engel Design, Inc.he continued his involvement in Record graphics, Film title and poster work and extensive packaging and key art projects working with Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, MGM, Universal among others. His work utilizes customized typography, lettering, strong illustrative graphics as well as conceptually driven illustration and digitally enhanced photography. He is Grammy winner for packaging and has won numerous Publication and national design awards throughout his career.
