When I’m not working my full-time Amazon role, I sometimes try to do a little extra work. Whether it be for friends or acquaintances approaching me in need of some graphical assistance with putting together pamphlets, business cards, banners, or creating ads for thier company.

As the current lead designer at the company, I am responsible for assembling together the contents of hotel guest directories for different hotel brands across the country. I make sure we are following the current brand standards for the hotels as well as develop strong, appealing ads for local businesses in the area around the location. With the advertisers in the directories, sometimes we are given brand standards to follow, and other times we have to create something from scratch or from limited resources available online. I handle multiple projects at a time, following up with clients on deadlines or revisions that are needed to meet their needs for the final product.

I was responsible for taking any calls related to auto related incidentsin Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona. I would deal with our customer, claimants, auto shops, or other insurance companies to make sure their questions or problems were dealt with. I had to maintain the ability to be efficient with processing incoming calls, thoroughly documenting the conversations that took place, and leave a sufficient paper trail so the next person handling the claim would know where I left off in the process when my task.

I was responsible for creating logos, newspaper ads, icons, formatting books, creating labels, and many other creative projects for high profile clients and up-and-coming businesses in Northern Colorado.
