- Responsible for all areas of the Vodafone Logistics function, including the small order (mechanised) are, Inbound, Outbound, VTO and Paging.- Leading a team of 120 DCO’s, Assistant Team Leaders and Team Leaders- Development of Team Leaders using various tools including the Unipart competency framework.- Driving service to achieve and exceed an industry leading kpi of 99.95%- Control of headcount to ensure cost per item and cost per order remain in line with budget.- Using CI tools such as creative problem solving to ensure root cause is identified and resolved for any performance issues relating to cost, quality and delivery.- Direct people management experience for Team Leaders including monthly structured 1-2-1’s performance management, resource planning and appraisals. In addition to coaching TL’s in managing their own direct reports.- Responsible for driving a positive safety culture within the business, driving proactive awareness through near misses to reduce/ prevent incidents. Investigating any high potential incidents should they occur.- Regular client contact from various different areas and levels.

- Tasked with reducing returns WIP to acceptable levels in time for the clients year end to minimise their year end stock holding.- Required input and support from multiple internal and external stakeholders. - Managing expectations and negotiating with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes when project requirements did not fit with current work priorities. - Delivering a major new project for the client; the success of which was paramount for delivering cash flow to the client for the remainder of the year.- Sorting and managing aged inventory to allow it to be reworked- Managing clients rework requirements against a sales forecast- Regular liaison with multiple stakeholders within the clients business to ensure complete alignment between the 2 organisations.

- Supporting senior managers within the clients business focussing on forward and reverse logistics and distribution. - Maintaining and developing relationships with the client, networking within the clients business and capitalising on any opportunities to develop the partnership. - Ensuring robust governance was in place and chairing key stakeholder meetings between UTL and the client.
