I founded Best Wishes with my creative and life partner Cecile Dyer to produce original unscripted content for Discovery's HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel and Magnolia networks. With Best Wishes I have Produced and Directed multiple digital and OTT series, broadcast promos, fundraising videos for national non-profits and thousands of social cutdowns of all the above. I've Directed the Brady Bunch (the actors, not the actual show), Top Chefs, Football players, student athletes, senior athletes, and people who defy categorization. Our work has been seen by millions of people and earned us a national Daytime Emmy nomination. We have created work for Food Network, HGTV, The Washington Post, Travel Channel, the US Soccer Foundation, Magnolia, TX Whiskey, The Workers Defense Project and others.Our work as Best Wishes puts people at the center, prioritizing honesty and humanity in our storytelling and work practices. We value the people we work with, both on and off screen. We acknowledge that filmmaking is a collaborative craft that often has many stakeholders, and we do our best to find a balance between the needs of a client and the reality of a situation. I believe we have been very successful at creating work that reflects our values and serves the needs of our production partners and clients.My role as EP and owner has included many roles. I've Directed top-tier talent, edited every format of video deliverables, run payroll, managed health benefits, negotiated contracts, swept the floor, managed an equipment inventory, nurtured ongoing professional relationships, and thrown a barbecue all on schedule and on budget.

The life of a freelancer requires a lot of dexterity, adaptivity and self-management skills. As a freelance editor, projects varied from internal case studies to unscripted TV to stop-motion commercials. Each project requires adapting quickly to a given workflow and team, with clear communication being a top priority.Clients include BBDO NY, TBWA/Chiat, DDB, Dish Network, Jameson Irish Whisky, Food Network, Indie shorts films, Saveur Magazine, Food & Wine, and others.

Video and Film are integral to Metropolitan Urban Design's planning process by incorporating direct community feedback and interviews to create comprehensive, human scale environments. With the MUD team, I have worked on economic development proposals for Hartford, CT and a comprehensive master plan for Easton, PA.

Sometimes you follow your heart and it's rewarding in ways you didn't expect. In 2014 I decided to pursue a Masters program in City Planning. As an avid bike nerd/cyclist who is also concerned about the health and longevity of our planet and interconnectedness of our society, I was incredibly lucky to work for the NYC DOT helping expand bicycle infrastructure. In doing so I met some incredible people giving their energy to this cause as well. Though I learned a civil servant career doesn't fit me right now, I did use my existing skills for a cause I care about and fell back in love with my already established career in visual media.

During my tenure at Charged, we were retained by MoveOn.org to produce rapid-response political commercials. We created over 30 spots for MoveOn, most being produced in less than 48 hours from creative brief to delivery. My role in this crazy machine was to budget, schedule, staff and edit these spots in time to stay relevant with the political climate.Charged also produces stop-motion animation, and my role as editor was to compile footage and edit spots like the UPS Infonotice launch video, and a series of broadcast spots for Howard Johnson's.
