Nielsen Sports appoints Andy Hata as President of North AsiaTokyo, August 8, 2018 – Nielsen Sports, the premier provider of analytics and insights within the sports industry, has announced that Andy Hata, previously President, Nielsen Sports Japan, will take on the expanded regional role of President, North Asia. Andy is now responsible for all of Nielsen Sports’ business activity in Japan, South Korea and Mainland China.Hata takes on the expanded North Asia role after leading the Nielsen Sports Japan team for over five years. Prior to joining Nielsen Sports, he led a number of global projects with Sony Corporation and was part of their global partnership team with FIFA, spearheading global activation strategy for all FIFA tournaments including the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
