I began my working life as a communicator in the Royal Navy leaving to join Dover Harbour Board police. I then enjoyed a variety of roles in Nottinghamshire Police, working on front line response and as a community officer. In 2000 I joined a team delivering the Airwave radio system to officers. Qualifying as a trainer and designed the training package. After roll out I remained with the project to troubleshoot reported issues with the system.In 2008 I joined the Mobile Data Project as Project Support. The force was then successful in a bid for funding an I planned and executed a complete replacement of 3000 devices on a live system. Working closely with d a regional collaboration with four other forces took place to introduce Mobile Data in a very short timescale to meet government requirements. I worked closely with the Project Manager to embed mobile working into Nottinghamshire Police making it one if the leading forces in the world for Mobile Applications. Whilst in this role I qualified as a Prince 2 Project Manager and 2011 I took over as Project Manager. I have received local and national recognition for work with Mobile communication applications and systems.As administrator for the Lincolnshire Police mobile data system I worked with Airwatch MDM and Pronto e notebook. Procurement, asset management, dealing with customers in a high pressure environment, device rebuild and repair. Working alone I built a good relationships with third party suppliers such as Samsung and Motorola.As the forces mobile solution moved to BAU I am now enjoying a Technical Project Manager role. I have completed some innovative, exciting and enjoyable projects including a Drone fleet with video downlink, forcewide replacement of a state of the art digital interview system, MDM migration from Airwatch to UEM and now InTune. Currently working on the Endpoint replacement project to update the forces mobile device estate to take full advantage of the O365/NEP environments. Aligned to this has been the creation and implementation of specific personas and profiles to users which simplifies internal processes across all departments.
