About Andy Jasper

Heritage, Gardens, Attractions & Tourism Specialist - Strategic Thinker - Development Cultivator - Agent of Change - Director – Seasoned Speaker -– Passionate about People, Plants & the Planet - Eternal Optimist I have spent the last twenty years working in some of the most inspiring places in the world and have helped them become more relevant, engaging and sustainable: botanic gardens, historic properties, museums, castles, art galleries, archaeological sites and with communities (large and small) in the UK and overseas. I have worn many hats through my career: researcher, manager, consultant, intervention officer and have acquired a broad range of skills that have helped organisations excel. I love building. I love creating compelling visitor experiences. I help people believe the seemingly impossible is possible and have a track record for master planning, fundraising, delivering capital and business related projects on time and on budget. I love challenges and unlocking potential. I love big ideas and delivering significant results. I am a showman at heart with an entrepreneurial zest for life, a love of people and an unquenchable thirst for improvement.People have described me as a catalytic leader; an empowering team player with an ability to help those believe in necessary change or projects that may stretch beyond the usual comfort zone. My open approach and ability to navigate complex challenges has also been applied in the USA. This generated significant funds through donor engagement, return on investment through transition planning and sustainable business management. The product of this work included raising $3.2m capital investment, delivery of capital projects on time and on budget, operational fixes and a marketing strategy (re-launch) producing an uplift in business of 25% in numbers of visitors and revenue increase of 46% consistently.

Listed skills include Research, Sustainability, Event Management, Marketing Communications, and 42 others.
