An Analyst with 25 years’ experience within Business Analysis, Data Migration, Application Support, Data Analysis and Management Information disciplines mainly implementing software for the health sector. This is similar to my earlier roles with InterSystems, MFT and DXC.• Involved throughout the Deployment Life Cycle from initial engagement through to Go Live and Early Life support.• Leading a series of workshops with stakeholders to understand NH’s requirements especially around data, reporting and processes and documenting the results and getting them agreed.• Fitting those requirements to the Trakcare application and putting together a solution. • Helping the Hospitals to map their existing data to Trakcare, extracting the correct fields and applying suitable translations within the Transformation Engine.• Working with the Hospitals to understand the future state of processes to ensure the migration satisfied these requirements.• Ensuring that stakeholders understood the migration process and the changes being made to the data in order to fit within TrakCare.• Reviewing and reporting the results of the practise runs, working with the Hospital to fix any issues such as coding errors or data quality issues to improve quality and quantity of records migrated.• Assisting with UAT and raising and monitoring issues found to ensure a successful resolution and ensuring Hospital are kept aware of progress. • Helping the NH Reporting Function to understand the original source of the migrated data and the transformations done to produce the new data to reproduce their reports.• Working closely with various levels of NH staff and ISC staff supporting the projects.

MFT deployed EPIC Electronic Patient Record across all 10 hospitals in the Trust. Replacing hundreds of existing systems with EPIC modules to have 1 single patient record across the whole Trust. My role was to review the 700+ existing systems and produce a plan to cover whether the system was being replaced by EPIC, would need to stay but be integrated with EPIC or would remain as stand alone.The next task was some systems analysis to migrate the existing data to the new EPR. Later I was involved in testing the data and resolving issues. The bullet points above cover the main aspects of the role. -
