As a Local Outreach head leader, I lead a team of four GCU students in developing a Christ-focused ministry. Our ministry is called Rehoboth. We weekly go to a local low-income, refugee-focused apartment complex to hang out with the kids, play games, share a Bible lesson, do crafts, and give snacks. Ultimately, we strive to share Jesus’ love.

As a GCU Fitness Center employee, I use my customer service skills to run the front desk where I check people into the fitness center. I also clean the facility periodically throughout my shift to keep it a safe and healthy environment.

Canyon Angels is a revolutionary angel investment group where GCU students perform due diligence analysis on vetted companies to find the most desirable investment opportunities.I have gotten to:• Collaborated with a group of 5-7 students to research startup companies across the U.S.• Participate in hands-on learning experiences in due diligence analysis and venture financing• Present findings to the angel investors at monthly meetings

As a Local Outreach Student Leader, weekly, I would go to a local neighborhood park to hang out with the kids, play games, share a Bible lesson, and give snacks. Our main goal is to share Jesus’ love with the kids.

After an intense two-week training course, I embarked on a summer of leading eight campers, varying between 1st grade through 12th grade. Each day, I would get my campers to all of their activities, teach Bible studies, build deep personal connections, comfort sad and homesick campers, resolve conflicts, and play with the campers. On the weekends, I would help in non-counseling aspects which included serving food, cleaning the bathrooms, leading games and events, building relationships with families, washing dishes, and taking care of the site.

As the owner of Lien’s Lawn Care, I would advertise the business to potential customers, schedule dates and times of when to mow lawns, complete the required services, and invoice customers monthly.
