E&P Project Manager And Cre

Thameslink Ko2

Working on the prestigious Thameslink Project, I was initially involved with the ECI phase. This coincided with the delivery/handback of the enabling stages at South Bermondsey, Up Sussex Loop, and the final stages of the Tanners Hill re-modelling works. The project was split into defined areas and by Jan 2015, the remodelling of the Eastern Approach/Low Level tracks of the Southern Lines between New Cross Gate and London Bridge had been successfully delivered to time/budget. Works immediately switched to the South Eastern lines on the Eastern Approaches of London Bridge, and in Aug 15, Western Approaches from Charing Cross. Initial scope was to support the track renewal program for design and installation of ETE/M and points heating installations, however this soon developed to include the design and management of all LV/DNO supplies, management of HV Outages and DCCB rackout programs and the changes required to the DC feeding and negative bonding arrangement in line with the changeover of the signalling control to EBI400 track circuits and the new track alignment. The works also encompassed support for the Structure Strengthening and Bermondsey Dive Under Projects, as well as Minor Civils installation program. From Jan 15, the scope altered to include HV cable diversion, CTS installation, SCADA installation & screen changes and the program for commissioning DCCBs in line with ongoing track changes. Key responsibilities included:Ensuring all project deadlines were met to budget, specification and safelyConfirming the discipline design and construction complied with all applicable standards, legislation, contract requirements and specificationsDirected the technical & construction activates of E&P delivery by ensuring engineering compliance/assurance with NR standardsCreated and implemented inspection and test procedures, including documentation for client assuranceManage/develop BBR E&P teamManage discipline/project interfacesCont. of AE and REE duties
