Transferred from the Montrose OIM position to join the MAR BLP Project from Concept through to Operate phase to provide embedded Operations leadership, expertise, define strategies and tailored resources. MAR was a significant Greenfield and Brownfield project; valued in excess of £2BN, delivering Cayley and Shaw production at rates in excess of 30mbd and 80mmscfd gas, and extending the life of existing Monarb facilities to an estimated CoP of 2032.• Phased recruitment and management of a team of Operations and Maintenance personnel based in Aberdeen, London (Design), Holland (HUC) and offshore (Commissioning and Start-Up).• Operations focus in engineering design, HAZOP’s, HAZID’s, model reviews, readiness reviews, FAT attendance, commissioning and handover.• Development & finalisation of OPEX and CAPEX LoF forecasting for the BLP.• Development and implementation of Work Management System.• Developed and delivered POPM’s and training modules for new and incumbent crew.• Operations leadership on Heavy Lift Vessel (HLV) campaigns for jacket (6,600Te) and topsides (10,000Te) lifts.• Responsible for handover of equipment and facilities to the platform Operations team (GOC and Omega Completion Management Systems), requiring both on and offshore presence to deliver.

Montrose Platform (Ukcs)

Managing a fixed leg production and drilling installation with a normal POB of 120.Managed the offshore transition of Duty Holder from Petrofac to Talisman Energy.Commissioning and start-up of Wood and Gas Export (WAGE) process and Wood subsea well.Upgrade of main generation control systems.Replacement of platform cranes.Decommissioning and removal of redundant process plant and equipment, including Rubicon hydraulic drilling package, utilising heavy lift vessel Thialf.

Tartan Platform (Ukcs)

Managing a fixed leg production and drilling installation with a normal POB of 116.Initially Production Supervisor on Tartan, Offshore Team Leader and then OIM after 4 years.Development and implementation of new OTL role offshore whilst undertaking Production Supervisor duties.Drilling, construction and commissioning of new platform and subsea wells.Installation and commissioning of F&G and DCS upgrades.Replacement of water maker facilities with more efficient new technology.Upgrade and recommissioning of platform drilling facilities.
