I was a field operations assistant for CBS Sports and NFL Network for the leading up to the Thursday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. My duties included assisting the stage managers on the set, shopping for food and office supplies, driving fellow employees to the airport, and making copies of daily schedules and show rundowns.

I was a field operations assistant for Fox Sports in Kansas City while the Kansas City Royals played in the World Series at Kauffman Stadium. I also worked at the NASCAR SpongeBob SquarePants 400 race in May and at the 2015 U.S. Open in June. As a field operations assistant I assisted the stage managers, helped put up and take down the set of the pregame show, picked up food and drinks for fellow employees, stocked and maintained food and drink supply in the trailers, drove fellow employees from the compound outside the stadium to the set of the pregame show inside the stadium, and much more.

I hosted a special program for 90.7 FM KJHK called Hip-Hope Hype. For the program, I wrote a blog post each month that included opinion pieces and best-of lists. I also conducted a phone interview with Big Boi from OutKast before he performed a show in town.

As an intern at Complex Media, I did a variety of tasks. Among them were transcribing interviews, research, editing spreadsheets, and contributing to their articles published online.

While at 710 ESPN Radio Seattle, I edited audio clips using Adobe Audition, researched sports statistics, and fielded calls from listeners calling into the radio show.
