After working in High School Education as a classroom and head teacher of Mathematics for 10 years, I decided it was time to try something different. I joined a large franchise team at Mortgage Choice Blaxland, Penrith and Glenbrook, where Being part of a large Mortgage Choice Franchise over the last 5 years meant there was a large volume of leads where I was consistently in the top 10 to 20 loan writers nationally for settlements (in my 4th and 5th year as a loan writer). This allowed me to gain lots of experience quickly where I was able to problem solving numerous loan scenarios. Having spent 10 years educating high school students on financial concepts and problem solving, I quickly realised that my teaching skills in mortgage brokering empowered my clients with knowledge and understanding which enabled them to make better decisions for their personal situation. I also understand that applying for a loan can be stressful and emotional. I place a high importance on quick and constant communication. This helps to alleviate questions and concerns in order to make the process enjoyable and as least stressful as possible. I was drawn to Mortgage Choice as it is a reputable brand, and I particularly like how every broker is paid the same no matter which lender we put the client with, which means the clients bests interest are put first.
