I am a Purchasing / Procurement Officer currently working for a Pharmaceutical company in Auckland, whose products are sold both nationally and internationally. My principal responsibilities are the purchasing of all packaging items for our manufacturing plants in Auckland and Fiji, as well as managing the suppliers to ensure goods of the correct quality are delivered on time and to the agreed price.I am a self-motivated, results focused individual, with a cheerful disposition, capable of working independently and also as part of a team. All aspects of work are approached with unquestioning enthusiasm and professionalism. Technically minded, as well as being quick to adapt to new environments and challenging situations. I am capable of making decisions and can prioritise tasks to achieve objectives. I have a passion for cost savings and am keen for continued learning. As a member of the Social Club committee, I enjoy organising fun events for my colleagues; which helps obtain a work hard, play hard balance.
