I advised collectors across a diverse timeline of interests from antiquities to emerging artists with an aesthetic that all cultures have valuable touchstones to what defines us as human to be seen with objective eyes. In addition to my primary expertise in Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary Art, I advised in building collections including American and Latin American Painting, 20th Century Design, 20th Century Prints, and Photography. Recent important acquisitions on behalf of collectors include Hawaiian Tribal Art, Greek ceramics, Spanish Colonial Art and Old Master paintings and drawings. 20th and 21st artists include Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Pierre Bonnard, Edgar Degas, Alfred Sisley, Morandi, Magritte, Juan Miro, Duchamp, and Charles Sheeler, Jacob Lawrence, and Pablo Picasso. Masterworks in the Post-War and Contemporary realm feature works by Dubuffet, Calder, Rothko, Diebenkorn, Mitchell, Johns, Kelly, Ryman, Marden, Lichtenstein, Wesselmann, Warhol, Richter, Polke, Celmins, Sherman, Gober, Prince, Koons, Basquiat, Haring, Kerry James Marshall, Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Condo, Jonas Wood, and many others. My work with collectors also involved negotiating the sale of works from private collections including the Estate of Emily and Jerry Spiegel, Phil Schrager, Anita Reiner and many other works from anonymous collections of distinction. My career began with a participation in the sale of the notable collections of Emily and Burton Tremaine, Victor and Sally Ganz, Fredrik Roos, Gerald Elliott, and Harry Torczyner. The narrative journey of love and devotion of the collector provides a thrill equal to the life of exploration by the artist. My time at Christie's was marked by innovation in the platform of buying and selling Contemporary Art whether that was in launching new cross-catagory initiatives, reconsidering the time-line for the content of Contemporary Art sales, or promoting on-line bidding and sales. My outlook was global in scope.
