I’m a third generation plumber. My granddad started McCarty Plumbing in 1969. I worked my Granddad, Dad and Uncle learning the trade since 11 years old. I started full time the day after a got out of high school. In 2019 I was ready for a new challenge. I applied for a job as a service plumber with Meetze Plumbing. I was hired quickly and began my new journey. Our company was purchased by Turnpoint Services in January of 2020. In February 2020 on Valentines Day I was promoted to Service Manager. At that time we had 10 service plumbers. Over the next 11 months we grew to 23 service plumbers and doubled the number of apprentices in our class for continued growth. January 1st 2022 I took over as GM of Meetze. We continued to grow the business as the economy slowed and put up 15% growth for the year. Taking Meetze from a 5.5 million dollar company to a 13.5 million dollar powerhouse in a 3 year period. February 2023 I was asked to take on a new challenge and transfer to Corley to build and grow the plumbing department. When I arrived February 20th I had 5 service plumbers and 2 install plumbers. It took 4 months to get back on track. In August we posted the highest revenue month ever for Corley’s plumbing department established in 1986. We followed that with the second most ever in September. Our momentum is still moving forward by December we have 15 service plumbers, 6 install plumbers and 2 drain technicians. We also started a new apprentice program and we graduate 5 techs in January. 2024 is going to be a fun year.
