Served as a unit leader who specialized in both creating and executing long-term development plans of foreign militaries within Asia. We utilized multiple planning models/tools to identify critical elements within the environment and then created 1-2 year plans on how to leverage mismatches. We successfully developed, resourced and executed three different campaigns within Southeast Asia. Maintaining the Special Forces principle of working with and through host nation entities requires all successes to be those of the host nation, and my team not becoming a necessary "cog in the wheel" that we helped create.

The Infantry School

Served as Senior trainer for 200+ students at Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course. Executed 4 training iterations of 5 months; covering leadership, planning, problem solving and decision making. Earned instructor of the cycle, and maintained highest graduation rate for students from US Army Ranger school.

Led a detachment of 20 soldiers conducting Pathfinder Operations throughout Afghanistan. Outperformed previous unit's tempo of 3 missions to completing 60+ missions in 1 year deployment cycle. Set record for highest aircraft recovery in US Army history (14,368 ft.).
