As Battalion Commander of the US Army Parachute Team, I lead and develop an elite team of 100+ personnel who perform high-profile precision aerial demonstrations and competitions on the national and international stage. I am responsible for the brand management and public affairs of the Team as well as the safety, training and operational readiness of its personnel and equipment. I am passionate about cultivating talent, leadership, and culture (TLC) that produces teamwork and a commitment to excellence. I have 23+ years of experience as a Soldier, Military Officer and Green Beret, building and developing cohesive and adaptive small to medium-sized organizations across a variety of operational and strategic environments. My core competencies include being people-focused, results-oriented, collaborative problem solving, attention to detail, task organization and active listening. I am seeking a temporary internship program to develop the skills necessary to build a family business in regenerative agriculture. I am interested in learning from and collaborating with practitioners of polyculture, soil health, microgreens, small livestock, beekeeping, gardening, foraging and breadmaking. I am eligible to participate in DoD Skillbridge and Army Career Skills Programs, which allow me to pursue these opportunities without pay or benefits from the host organization during the final months of my military transition.
