As Communications Coordinator, I manage Cornell's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning's communication channels. I develop social media strategies and create content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This includes community management, analyzing metrics, and optimizing our social presence. I edit and publish website content, write marketing copy for the newsletter, emails, print materials, and support website rebranding efforts. I amplify media mentions using Meltwater, creating monthly compilations and providing top hits for presentations. Additionally, I collaborate with partners on content strategy, guide department social media managers, and assist with special projects as needed. Throughout my work, I effectively communicate the college's mission while upholding high editorial standards aligned with broader communications goals.

My main goal at NorthStar, outside of creating a desirable menu, was to focus on utilizing ingredients from reputable local and regional sources. As a result, in 2011, we were recognized by the Ithaca Times as the “Best Farm to Table Restaurant” in Ithaca alongside Moosewood Restaurant.Developed various menus, managed kitchen staff, consistently met state health code standards, coordinated catered events.

I started here as a dishwasher fresh out of high school and new to Maryland's beach scene. I eventually worked my way up through the kitchen ranks and found myself as an assistant kitchen manger. My job duties included over seeing and training a kitchen staff of up to 20 individuals, leading the line, and menu planning.
