I have worked in Logistics for over 20 years although I originally trained in Building Design. Most of that time has been spent working for Homebase in various roles both in house and now as a 3PL GM for the past 7 years with Unipart. In this time I have developed the contract for Homebase and driven through colleague engagement using lean tools and techniques. The operation delivers market leading customer service,costs and team engagement. I have headed up four major projects in this time which have included a major reconfiguration of the warehouse as part of the 12 year deal agreed in 2010 with Homebase . Recently picking up the Habitat store and multi-channel solutions following the purchase by Home Retail Group which had extremely tight time lines. All projects were run using Prince 2 principles and delivered on time, below budget and achieving all objectives. I am now working with the Expert Practices Team on several projects and looking forward to my new major contract role.
