I have nearly 10 years of experience training and working within the industry of cinematic and television production. All of that time has been focused on camera; operating, maintaining, assisting. For 4 or 5 years I spent my working life as a camera assistant within a camera crew on mainly TV Drama and Feature Film projects. On these projects, I would be working under cinematographers and other camera crew to ensure that the camera was prepared, maintained and transported safely and with the exact equipment necessary to achieve the cinematography the project needed. This requires intense organisational skills, hardiness to the elements and knowledge of the equipment. I also ran a business creating corporate and commercial content for clients. I ran this business alongside a colleague and also operated as cinematographer. I managed clients, edits and finances.For over a year now I have worked as a camera technician for NoDrama, the north's finest camera rental facility. We supply cameras and assorted equipment to drama and commercial productions across the country and ensure it's done to the absolute elite level. Here I maintained, fixed, cleaned and organised swathes of different elite cinematic equipment and learned it intimately.I have extensive knowledge of this equipment and the on-set experience to understand how it ought to utilised and therefore sent out.Now, I am working on the business' hire side. I am a client contact for our more agile productions, working with camera operators and productions for documentaries, factual and sport.
