About Leah Harkey
Currently, I am working as the Sustainability Coordinator at No Drama as part of the Step Up to Net Zero Program delivered by the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. This 6-month upskilling program supports SMEs in their journey to net zero while providing participants with useful training and on-the-job experience in the sustainability sector. In my training I have learned strategies for reducing emissions through waste management and circular economy practices as well as practical skills such as how to calculate a carbon footprint. Previously, I have worked in the third sector in various roles, giving me experience working with both adults and children from vulnerable populations. In these roles, I found a passion for supporting others through improving mental health and wellbeing, providing access to creative opportunities and tackling barriers to employment.
