I am a member of the Donor Experience and Engagement team. In this role I manage a large portfolio of individual donors and foundations - helping them to think through how to identify grantees and structure grants to make their charitable giving more effective. Additionally, I also lead SVCF's Donor Circle for the Environment - designing and executing an annual learning and collective-grantmaking plan for a collection of the community foundation's most passionate environmental donors.

I am part of a small team of consultants that work with the world's largest foundations and NGOs to develop, implement, and evaluate measurable strategies that accomplish the social impacts they seek on topics ranging from climate and energy to biomedical research. Over the last year, I have helped four different clients develop programs that disperse more than $100M per year. As part of this work, I create memos, reports, and presentations to communicate strategies within clients’ organizations and to attract support from governments and other actors. I also develop detailed Excel models and other analyses to estimate the expected social return of investments and lead interviews with topical experts to identify and evaluate opportunities to increase impact.

I was at LBA Realty for my MBA summer internship working on energy efficiency projects as part of the Environmental Defense Fund's Climate Corps Fellows program. I analyzed 25+ energy efficiency projects to assess their financial viability and to benchmark their greenhouse gas reductions. The projects I worked on represented $1.1M in annual savings, $5.6M in NPV, and 5k metric tons of annual emissions reductions. Throughout the internship, I developed processes and Excel tools that were adopted by the VP of Operations and property managers to better solicit and evaluate vendor proposals.

I led a team of two to develop academic, industrial, and public policy partnerships between experts in the UK and US with a focus on driving growth in key science and innovation sectors of interest to the UK government. As part of this work, my team built a strong, broad-ranging project portfolio (spanning nanotechnology, regenerative medicine, secure computing, etc.) and a network of nearly 1,500 key science and innovation contacts. During my tenure at the Consulate, the partnerships be built secured more than $25M in follow-on support from a range of funders.

I worked as part of a large team developing a $2 billion Air Force radar program. My sub-team of two people worked on building a Matlab simulation of the air-to-air tracking module. I used the simulation to analyze complex military scenarios, and I presented the results to senior government customers.
