I am an experienced and qualified Marine Fleet & Operations Manager (holding a valid UK Masters Unlimited CoC) with extensive experience of managing marine operations for International operators based in the UK, Europe, Dubai & Australia. I place great emphasis on ensuring that crew and vessels are operated safely, economically and are efficiently maintained to fulfil commercial and operational requirements. My duties included regular watchkeeping and shiphandling, ensuring the vessel is in a stable condition at all times and conducting and implementing crew training. I was in charge of the Life Saving Appliances on board the Pride Of Calais. This is a passenger vessel for up to 2400 passengers. Regular interaction with the Master and the crew ensure that I was part of an efficient and well motivated team. This is an imperative part of my position. I regularly took the ship in and out of Dover and Calais, as I found this one of the most enjoyable aspects of the job.
