I enjoy getting into action through clarifying and focusing strategy, building GTM and team, achieving first sales, and getting fit-for-purpose structure & plan in place to make things work.

At Open Energi we provide a digital platform and on-site hardware to enable developers of flexible energy assets to connect to ancillary and traded electricity markets. Our technology allows storage and dispatch to operate optimally, maximising value for the client.In my role I lead the development and execution of business strategy and ensure that my team has the right skills and experience to execute effectively for our customers. Through our acquisition and integration in bp's trading business we have built an industry-leading commercial & technical offer for battery developers.

LYTT provides an industrial IoT digital platform for fibreoptic sensing - turning terabytes into kilobytes, providing actionable insights in seconds. In my role I was accountable for building and executing business operations at LYTT, including customer delivery & success, commercial operations, talent & HR, and compliance. In addition, I was exec sponsor for our largest client account and I supported our CEO in the development & delivery of company strategy.

Reporting to BP's CTO, David Eyton, I managed the corporate technology office which oversaw technology across BP.

As part of BP Upstream's modernisation and transformation programme, I led change for Upstream Technology with a particular focus on agile organisation.

I managed a team of reservoir and petroleum engineers responsible for simulation, uncertainty and option evaluation studies, including opportunities for deploying Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technologies.

Responsible for the creation and management of research programmes focussed on enhanced recovery of heavy oil and for evaluation of options for upgrading and transportation of heavy oil. I led a multi-million dollar programme involving both internal and external research projects and a collaboration with a major 3rd party upstream operator. My responsibilities included the definition and execution of an intellectual property (IP) strategy.

Responsible for the technical and commercial evaluation of unconventional resource recovery technologies, including Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) for making synthetic fuels, and Enhanced Coal Bed Methane (E-CBM) for natural gas production.

Chemical engineering graduate working on design of new pilot plant equipment and operations support of a commercial chemicals manufacturing facility for which I was a commissioning signatory.
