Current• Responsible for creating content and then teaching Advanced Residential, Commercial Startup classes on Power Generation Equipment, as well as hybrid inverters and LFP battery storage systems. • Performs startups/commissioning on commercial power generating equipment and automatic transfer switches. • Performs customer/dealer site visits for field service work, onsite training, repairs, or startups on power generation equipment.• Extensive knowledge on Briggs & Stratton/Vanguard engines, PSI engines, E-controls and IMPCO engine fuel systems, Deep Sea and ComAp controllers, Cumins power generation equipment, GE Zenith and ASCO transfer switches • Works with dealers and engineers on application engineering needs and engineering bid spec jobs on new and existing power generation equipment.• Provides technical support either by phone, email, or onsite for customers/dealers on residential and commercial power generation equipment.• Acts as a liaison between the Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing departments, as well as, manufacturers, service centers, central distributors, field sales staff and customers in order to resolve moderately complex requests/concerns on products.• Responds to and resolves a variety of product/service requests, questions and concerns of moderate to high complexity via telephone, e-mail, chat, and written correspondence.• Serves as a resource for training and development of less-experienced staff, ensuring application of company policies/procedures; provides technical guidance on complex issues.• Assists Service Manager-Dealer experience by providing input with interviewing, coaching, assigning, directing work, and performance management.• Provides pre and post sales support on all power generation products.
