I am a certified SolidWorks Expert, with comparable skill levels in Siemens NX and Solid Edge, as well as being a certified SolidWorks PDM Professional Administrator. I wear several hats at ARB Corporation.As CAD Administrator I have developed various custom written programs to improve efficiency and reduce time spent on necessary repetitive tasks within Engineering. Some of these tools are embedded within core SolidWorks other are accessible in Catia. I have scoped and rolled out PDM to multiple sites across ARB’s satellite offices as well as implemented various improvements in PDM. I have developed ancillary tools in Excel to help automate data exchange between Engineering & ERP. I am responsible for CAD standards, CAD/PDM training content & delivery as well as computing hardware.As Product Design Engineer I have worked on numerous projects including, BaseRack, Outback Drawers, Earth Camper to name just three. I am well versed in initial concept / research / design to prototyping / field testing and design iteration to drawing approval & production handover to final customer/fitter instructions.In previous lives I worked for over 15 years in the mechanical CAD reseller channel; selling, supporting, demonstrating, training and consulting in a variety of mainstream 3D CAD tools and their associated PLM/PDM solutions (SolidWorks, NX, Solid Edge, SolidWorks PDM, Teamcenter).
