I successfully performed as a Change Coach for Tesco during a secondment to Ireland during 2010/2011 financial year. In this period I spent the majority of my time living and working in Ireland. I lead a group of 21 coaches to deliver a full and robust change plan to stores across the east coast of Ireland. Working directly for Ian Logan, Stores Director (Work level 3), Working with 4 other Group Coaches I lead the Team to bring the Irish business into line with various UK operational activities. The scale of the change was such that it was described as 5 years change in 1 year. The implimentation and sustainability of the plan was deemed a great success and I was Graded Blue at year End. This led to our nomination for the national Values Awards where we were runners up. I have worked for Tesco since April 1991 in a succession of Senior Team roles within stores. I have been successful in all roles across the Senior Team structure in Tesco stores covering Customer Service, Fresh and Ambient Food, Night Management and Non Food. This experience led me to be a successful Deputy Manager.In all of these roles I have been successful by developing a team and through progressing the individuals within that team. Leading my team to be truely customer focussed has always been at the forefront of my management approach.
