24 years designing and developing Electronic Meters, Smart Meters, Metering Systems and Meter Manufacturing Systems. 13 years with Ampy Automation in the UK including 3 years working with ENEL on their AMI program in Italy from 1999 to 2003. 11 years with Echelon Corporation in the US developing Networked Energy Services, with the last 1.5 years establishing a world class R&D center with Echelon-Holley in China. I participated in the establishment of Electronic Static Watt Hour Meters in the late 80's, Magnetic Card and Smart Card prepayment meters in the 90's, then AMR, AMI and Smart Meters over the last 13 years. I've been lucky enough to live and work on three different continents and led successful volume meter deployments in the UK, Mainland Europe, North America, Russia, South America, Australasia and Asia.I've also had the good fortune to work with many pioneering companies and top visionaries in our industry.
