Since 2020, I’ve been CEO at Wealthify, a multi-award winning, purpose-led digital investment management service whose purpose is to inspire anyone to build their future wealth. I have taken a budding start-up and matured it into a successful scale up, including having:- Successfully managed the intricate transition from being founder-led to a wholly owned, fully autonomous subsidiary, maintaining the start up culture.- Established our purpose led strategy and plans, underpinned by our market leading cost of acquisition (a third of our competitors), obtaining the funding to break even.- Successfully delivered on this strategy, 10x-ing the company (AUM and value), including: o Established a full rewards framework, aligning our culture and growth targets. o Matured our customer focussed design & build frameworks, reducing onboarding times by 4/5ths. o Established a new brand strategy, widening our reach and broadening out the customer base. o Increased FTEs 4 fold, having now successfully recruited to our long-term structure. Prior to this, I was in various corporate leadership roles, which included :- ICF accredited qualified business coach- Regulatory responsibilities (CFO of £125bn of retirements products) and acquired new regulatory permissions from the FCA (Client Money permissions as part of large insourcing project)- Internal consultancy, leading effective cultural, process and system transformations across various teams with very different needs.- Financial risk management ownership across multiple companies- Technical funding structures, valuations and accounting- Established and led Aviva's commercial chartered accountancy graduate schemes, which ICAEW consider to be one of the best in the UK.What really gets me out of bed in a morning, apart from noisy kids, active dogs and an annoying itch for exercise, is solving complex problems, and using my curiosity, my ambition and my resolve, to really make a difference to people’s lives.
