Andy is a consultant with the Benefits Practice of Milliman. Currently, he is a Co-op 401(k) plan’s relationship manager. Andy joined Milliman in December 2010.Prior to joining Milliman, Andy ran his own business working with individuals and business owners solving their investment and insurance needs. Working with both individuals and businesses have given Andy a broad understanding of what it takes to make sponsors and participants happy with their benefit plans. Andy's consulting experience is focused in the areas of design and implementation of defined contribution retirement plans. In addition, he is familiar with a variety of other qualified retirement plans. His background includes business succession planning and individual financial planning.Andy has a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and business administration, in addition to, UW Madison’s, Dairy Farm Management and Crops and Soils. Andy also has his certified Family Business specialist designation from the American College. He is currently working on his Certified Pension Consultant designation.Andy grew up on, and managed, his family’s dairy and cash crop farm in Stoughton, Wisconsin. His passions outside of work include having fun with his family, traveling, hunting/fishing, and still playing farmer on his 80 acre farm.
