I am a Chartered Forester and Chartered Environmentalist, with over 30 years of experience working with trees. I have a strong practical background, working as a climber in Germany in the early 1990s before returning to work as a Tree Surgery Manager with a UK AA Approved Contractor, then setting up my own contracting business in 1995. I have held Tree Officer posts for nine years at both East Dorset and Test Valley District Council. After joining Barrell Tree Consultancy in early 2007, I have been able to apply my considerable knowledge and experience to full effect, in particular working on prestigious projects, in London.
