Led a team of Vehicle Line Managers leading current production products the R1T & R1S as well as responsibility for platform development, new product entries & COGS efficient work-streams. Led the R1S program to market in a combined Vehicle Line Director & Chief Engineer role. The R1S SUV went on to earn IIHS Top Safety Pick+ and recently (Jan, 2024) became the best selling big EV. Responsible for budget ownership, timing, quality & product readiness.

Working closely with the Vehicle Line Director launched the R1T pick-up, Rivians first Electric Vehicle to market. The R1T went on to win the 2022 Motor Trend Truck of the Year as well as several other awards. Worked closely with the Manufacturing Operations team to modernize & stand-up a brown field manufacturing site which is now over 4million square feet.

Joining when the Body Engineering function was 26 people I restructured & grew the body engineering team to be a multi-disciplinary organisation supporting both the R1 & RPV vehicle lines. During this time I was also a key part of investor presentations & negotiations which led to Rivian securing over $10bn of funding prior to producing the first product. In 2021 Rivian went on to set the record for the largest IS IPO raising $12bn.

Leading a team of over 100 engineers & designers where I was responsible for all Body Engineering content consisting of Body in white, Body Closures, Body Exterior & Interior within the Sports Series Vehicle Line. This includes the McLaren 570C, 570S, 570GT, 570S Spider & the 600LT in addition to two new development models within the 'Track 22' business plan. Furthermore, responsible for all models currently within Series & Series production including the 720S and all previous McLaren models. Previous projects delivered include the 12C Spider, 650S, 675LT, 675LT Spider & 720S. All of which being 5 star products which have positioned McLaren as a world leader within the Sports & Super car segment.

Delivery of the 720s carbon monocage 2 and overall responsibility of all Body Structures content on 720s. Also responsible for all Exterior Carbon Fibre option components.Responsible for all Body structures content on the 675LT Coupe & Spider including the delivery of an industry first Titanium half roll cage.

Acted as a project engineer on the MP4-12C Spider to deliver McLaren's first convertible project. Worked across all vehicle lines delivering series development projects where cost & mass optimisation was a key objective. Also, acted in various roles supporting all Body functions, Interior & Chassis for the delivery of the 650s & P1.
